Enhance Your Career with SDFM’s Fiscal Law Course!

This comprehensive course is designed to cover essential topics, including Chapters 3, 5, and 6 of the GAO Redbook. With the ever-changing landscape of federal appropriations law, staying up-to-date and knowledgeable is crucial.

November 6-8, 2024 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Focus will be on the three critical elements of Fiscal Law:

Purpose Code: Understand how appropriated funds can be used under 31 USC 1301.
Time Code/Bonafide Need: Grasp the intricacies of 31 USC 1502 and ensure proper timing and justification for expenditures.
Amount Codes/ADA: Navigate 31 USC 1341/1517 with confidence and avoid compliance issues.

Veterans Motorcycle Rally

Help us honor our Veterans at the 6th Annual Veteran's Day Motorcycle Rally. We would support the event set-up by registering the riders, ensuring payments were collected, and assisting in the prize giveaways and clean-up after the riders leave the starting point.

Economic Development Activities in the Tri-Cities Area of Virginia

Activity Bag Donations Needed

Help us fill activity bags for the families at the Ronald McDonald House in Richmond. These bags help the children stay occupied while undergoing medical procedures.

Items needed are:
Teething rings, Board books, Rattles, Pacifiers, Cars, Small blocks, Stickers/tattoos, Books, Play-doh, Coloring books, Crayons, Notebooks, Travel-sized games, Puzzle books, Adult coloring books, Colored pencils, or Card games.

We are trying to make a minimum of 50 bags.

After all the donations are collected we will have a membership meet and put the bags together.
